THE VOICE OF THE BLOOD

God created many mysterious creatures: Water is a mysterious creature; Electricity is also a mysterious creature BUT this one (BLOOD) is a spiritually mysterious creature.

Blood is a spiritual link between man and God. Blood is a liquid life and as long as the Bible is concerned, it has biological and spiritual qualities.

• In Medicine, the study of blood is Hematology. It is so important that there is a special aspect of blood.
• The mysterious thing is this: anytime blood is shed, it does not die.
• In Spiritual Hematology, that blood can be categorized into TEN according to the circumstances of the spillage of that blood.

1. Blood shed during war. It is called “War-Blood”.
   2. Suicide: Anyone who commits suicide goes straight from there to hell fire because you do not create your life.
   3. There is spiritual assassination. Witches, wizards, cultism and ritualists.
   4. The silent blood.
   5. The neutral blood.
   6. The shouting blood.
   7. The righteous blood. Nobody sheds the righteous’ blood in vain. The punishment of anyone who sheds the righteous’ blood is generational.
   8. Ths innocent blood.
   9. The accidental blood.
   10. The guilty blood.

“And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.” Genesis 4:9-10

Notice: Abel was dead but his blood was not dead. The blood has a screaming and shouting voice.

• Any blood that is shed has a voice.

“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” Revelation 6:9-10

– Blood has a hotline to God.
– Blood has the direct telephone line to God.

• Any blood that is shed speaks the language of judgement and not mercy.
  • Dead men don’t go to court but blood goes to court. There are different courts. So, there is a specialized court where blood is crying day and night that you come answer for what has been done.

“Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute: That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.” Luke 11:49-51

• Meaning that the blood shed by our fore-fathers; we may suffer for it now. The blood we are shedding now, our offsprings may suffer for it.
• Anytime blood touches the earth, it develops a voice immediately which cries to God. Any blood shed (terrorism, rituals, accidents, etc) is putting the future of Nigeria into trouble.

• So, you may not take part in any murder but simply because it was done in your lineage, you stand guilty; simply because it was done in your environment, you stand guilt; simply because it was done by your fore-fathers, you still stand guilty.

WHO ARE THOSE GUILTY OF THIS BLOOD?
1. All unbelievers.
2. All the men of God who are not telling the truth.
3. All aborters: Any form of abortion.
4. Those who take communion unworthily.
5. Those who hate their fellow men.
6. Backsliders.
7. Those who are into witchcraft; eating people’s flesh and drinking people’s blood.

• It is important to note that the values of human life or blood does not diminish at anytime.

– If you participate in raping a virgin and you spill her blood, the blood will certainly be required from you.
– Anyone who died in an hospital where you have embezzled money, the people’s blood will certainly be required from you.
– Contractors constructing roads with inferior materials will require blood being asked from you.

• The reason why there is problem is because blood keeps crying everyday for judgement and vengeance.

WAY OUT
1. We need to confess our sins.
2. We need to bring ourselves to deep and complete repentance.
3. We must examine our lives.
4. We need to make atonement of anywhere heaven may accuse us of the blood.

WANTED YOUNG PROPHETS

• We are in a crises situation. Christians are being killed; all kind of things are happening to believers; Churches are being burnt and more than any other time, Christians have died the most in the few years. And there is only one problem among us.

Kidnapping has gone to another level, occultism has also gone to another level. If we just sit down and just look, there will be trouble because one day, it could be you. The reason is in Psalms 74:9

“We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.” Psalms 74:9

• The problem we are having is the absence of the Prophetic. Only five Elijah is enough to sought out Nigeria. It is a disgrace that most of the people that are prophesying now are old women. Young ladies are busy pursuing after fashion, Facebook and face-letter.

The more spiritual you become, the better your life. The more spiritual you become, you will be the first beneficiary of that power.

* It is a disgrace that most of the brothers lack spiritual gifts and lack discernment.

Acts 2:17 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:”

• Vision to the young, dreams to the old but the reverse is what is happening now.

There are many churches.

1. Mortuary Churches: once one goes there, he is dead.
2. Cemetery Churches.
3. Occultic Churches.
4. Vanity Churches: where they tell you what dress to wear to every service.
5. Jolly Churches: laughing and dancing and bringing all kinds of comedians.
6. Business Churches.
7. Sick Churches.
8. Compromising Churches.
9. Presidential Churches: only for VIP.
10. Academic Churches.
11. Shallow Churches: everything on the surface.
12. Cool Churches: the whole will look like a live-show.
13. Fighting Churches: always fighting and quarrelling.

All these kind of churches are the ones surrounding us. A PROPHET IS NEEDED.

• Some listen to junk, sugar, alcoholic, valueless, vain, disco, seductive and panadol messages that will lead them y nowhere.

• God is looking for people to depend on and I need to ask you a question before we pray.

– Can GOD really trust you?

– If everyone was blind, will you behave the way you are behaving?

1. CAN GOD TRUST YOU WITH TIME?

Wasted minutes would amount to wasted years and wasted hours should amount to a wasted life. Time is not a friend of anybody. The Lord requires your time, for you will certainly give account of how you spend your time. Accepting money for the time you did nothing is stealing.

• Time is one of the intangible wealth that God has given to all of us.

2. CAN GOD TRUST YOU WITH YOUR TALENT?

Something has been deposited in your life and you will one day give account for that that has been deposited in your life. Can God trust you with that talent?

Some people will learn all the rudiments and foundation of music in the church and end up in the world. I have not seen any of those musicians that ends well -Dr. Olukoya.

3. CAN GOD TRUST YOU WITH YOUR TONGUE?

God has given us a tongue. Some use their tongue to bless others and some use theirs to curse others. Words that has not been weighed by the Holy Spirit is a destroyer.

One secret of power I need to tell you is that if you know when to talk and what to say, you will become a power house of God. But if you are a fool. The Bible says that they are known by the multitude of their words.

4. CAN GOD TRUST YOU WITH THE GOSPEL?

God is the owner of the gospel. You must not hide your Bible. The work of evangelism is not only for evangelism group, it is for all believers.

5. CAN GOD TRUST YOU WITH INFLUENCE?

God is looking for those who will become holy trouble makers for Jesus. Those who don’t care about what people are saying or how they look but are ready to influence others positively.

1. Surrender your life to that Jesus.

3. Cry to God for revival.
4. You need to determine that you must do something for your master.
5. You must decide that you must be a power generator.

THE EVIL TRIPLET

As from now till the end of today’s programme (PMCH). It is divided into three parts;

1. The Cleansing
2. The Anointing
3. The War

“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” 1 John 5:7-8

These are good tripets but the one we want to talk about are the bad triplets.

• The simplest of the geographical figure; that makes things complete is three. Three stands for something which is substantial and complete.
• The time we live in is triplet: the past, the present and the future.

There is a triplets that:

– has dismantle so many destinies

– are the most efficient satanic fishermen

– has turn very high class person to low class people

– have melted away the oil of divine favour from many

– has broken down the wall of spiritual immunity of many

– has converted daughters of Zion to daughters of woes

– has converted success to failure

– has taken people from the front to the back

– has put cancer in so many souls and has paralysed so many potentials.

WHAT ARE THESE THREE TRIPLET?

1. The Flesh
2. The World
3. Demons

They have caused massive destruction.

THE FLESH

– The Flesh is man’s very nature

– The Flesh is the evil principle in our nature

– The flesh is the enemy within our camp

– The flesh is the raw material that is in our body that the enemies work on

– The flesh is our disposition to sin

– The flesh is that which makes it impossible for the natural man to please God

– The flesh is that thing in you that reacts negatively

– The flesh is that part in you that is incline to sin

– The flesh motivates people to have inordinate affection for money

– The flesh is the enemy of our soul and wages war against our soul

• Most of the times, it is through flesh that demons enter the body. The flesh must therefore be crucified and demons must be cast out.
• Many people rush into deliverance ground, and God just expects 7 things from them. 1. Repentance 2. Repentance 3. Repentance 4. Repentance 5. Repentance 6. Repentance 7. Repentance
• The flesh is not interested in going to heaven. The Bible says, “Dust thou art and unto the dust thou shall return”
• You need to crucify the flesh. Once that flesh dies, the major parts of the warfare disappears.

THE WORLD

In the evil sense;

– it is the evil system controlled by Satan

– it is the ungodly multitude

– it is the circle of things in the world that hates God

– it is the unregenerated mankind

– it is the things people do that is against the Bible. The Bible now says, “Love not the world, neither the things of the world. If anyone loves the world (something is wrong with the him), the love of the Father is not in him.

– the world applauds sin

– the world loves iniquity

– the world are smart but not wise

• Every desire in your heart that you cannot drop for God is idol worship. Idol worship is anything that you put beside God or before God.
• The devil is the god of this world. The world is yet to be the Lord’s own. But it will soon become the Lord’s. The prince of this world is the one controlling the affairs of this world; politics, business, etc

THE DEMONS

Demons are fallen spirits. They rebelled against God. They are now looking for a person to enter into. When they see somewhere to stay, they are of greater advantage. Their agenda is to steal, kill and destroy.

They are in charge of the spirit of witchcraft, pornography, afflictions,…

CRIMINALS IN THE TEMPLE

“And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee. And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” Matthew 21:11-13.

This year 2017; the Lord will visit His temple in a powerful way. He is going to drive out everything that pollutes or defiles.

The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries is going to another level, and for those who do not want to belong to the Mountain of Fire; it is not compulsory. There are many churches around. If you are glued to sin, the Mountain of Fire is not a place to be coming. If you cannot repent, the Lord will kick you out; whether pastors, members, choir members or any position you take.

There is a huge problem happening in the temple and among Christians all over the places.

– Most ancient landmarks are being removed.

– Erroneous teachings mixed with small small truth are being preached.

– Some people regard Christianity as a means of financial gain. It is not bad to have money but it is bad for money to have you.

– There is this circular bad teaching about grace. Instead of being on fire for God, they are now partying away and depending on grace.

• The Bible says, shall we remain in sin and expect grace to abound? God forbid!
• If this teaching of grace is not stopped, we are going to have millions of lukewarm Christians. They say, God is the God of love and not the God of discipline.

– Some are even claiming that the teachings of Jesus Christ do not apply to us now again.

– Some say that when you fall into sin ask for forgiveness and continue life again.

– There is plenty of Biblical illiteracy.

• The Bible says, my house shall be a house of prayer and not a house of politics, not a house of merchandizing. Any pastor, any minister can leave any church. The only person who cannot leave is Jesus Christ. These days, even the so-called temple of God is longer safe for the righteous.
• This year, listen very carefully, Jehovah will drive out all the buyers and sellers so that a new dispensaion of power will come in. Those ones who sell and buy in the house of God are the ones reducing the power of God.
• One of the problems in our time is that thieves are jailing thieves, criminals are jailing criminals, thieves are investigating thieves, criminals are investigating criminals and robbers are investigating robbers.
• Let me ask you a question: If everybody coming to church was like you, do you think the power of God will move at all? Some are still watching pornography and some having sexual partners.
• An internal purging has to take place in your life. A spiritual sanitation has to be effected.

A Den of Thieves is:

– a dangerous place.

– a pit

– a cave

– a secret resort of evil.

• Unfortunately, there are thieves dressed in temple’s clothing. Some of them steal the peace of other people through causing dispute and arguments. Some steal the peace of friends. Some can gossip and some cause great problem where you put them. Every fornicator and adulterer are now speaking in tongues.
• The question is; if the Lord Jesus Christ from heaven comes now and begin to sanitize, what will He say to you? If you even try to preach to them, they will tell you the history of every other persons.

– Are you a disciple?

– Are you a spirit-filled?

– Are you an evangelist?

– Are you a thief?

• Prayer is a very good thing. Prayer is when you fully trust God to receive from Him. A thief forcefully or cleverly takes people’s things. Prayer is always God-centred and prayer is what we need in the temple of God.

Before we begin to pray:

– how about your personal life?

– is the altar of your life on fire?

– do sinners enjoy your life for company?

YOU NEED TO CHANGE BECAUSE THE LORD IS GOING TO SWEEP PEOPLE OUT. IT IS NOT GOING TO BE BUSINESS AS USUAL.

Who converts the Temple of God to a den of thieves? It is clearly stated in Matthew 21:13. “And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” …but YE….

Verse 14 says, “the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and He healed them.” – After the cleansing of the house of God, the blind and the lame gladly came in and were healed. When the temple of our life is cleansed, our life will be prepared for healing.

• There are traders in the temple of God. You need the purging power of God.

*Tonight, you need to cry to God and not pray but cry to God.

– Have you been spending most of your useful time watching films? – Traders in your temple.

– Is your heart still shaking like banana leaves? – Traders in your temple.

• It is unfortunate that as I was saying last Wednesday; the temple of many have been turned to an abominable beast.

5. Powers, circulating my name from shrine to shrine, from coven to coven, before the break of the day, die in the name of Jesus.

EATING FOOD SACRIFICED TO IDOLS

• There is an evil table that many have been eating from. There is a diet that the enemy has prepared for many. There is a tonic that many have been drinking.

Again, one of the most clever way to cage men, like this one we want to talk about has been so so successful.

“But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.” Revelation 2:14.

Many people think that it is only when you eat food that has been physically sacrificed to the devil that this scripture is talking about. No, it is more than that.

“But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.” 1 Cor. 10:20-21.

There is a table of God and there is a table of the devil.

When we say idol, what do we mean?

• Idol is anything placed before or beside God.
• When we say food, we mean any substance used for nutrition, nourishment, support, provision or any substance used for sustenance.
• To feed means to eat, to absorb, swallow, injects, to comply, to agree with, to take in and to digest.

The implication of anything you put in your mouth that is satanic is that, it is already part of you because it is digested and absorbed into your body.

A lot of people eat when they should not eat. When they eat bewitched food, it begins to grow with you.

The bottom line is this, to eat something is to inculcate it into your personality until it becomes part of you.

• When women put manhood inside their mouth, swallow semen; it digests inside their body and gets absorbed. This automatically means that they are carnivals who feed on flesh.
• Watching pornography is receiving injections from Hell Fire into your body.

MEANS THROUGH WHICH WE EAT FOODS SACRIFICED TO IDOLS

1. Entertainment

There are six Idols in Television.

1. Lust
2. Violence

iii. Drunkenness

1. Rebellion
2. Covetousness
3. Witchcraft

If you want to grow in grace this year, you must not feed on entertainment. This is not to say that television is bad, but there is the on button and the off button. There are programmes that have to do with the word of God in the television.

2. Partying: It is said to be fun. Let me be honest with you, to love partying is to love food sacrificed to idols.
3. Alcohol : Separation to God includes alcohol.
4. Drugs are foods sacrificed to idols.

Demons derive satisfaction in seeing human being defiling the temple of God.

5. Inordinate desire for money: any inordinate pursuit for money is food sacrificed to idols.
6. Continuous participation of anything that delights idols.
7. Inordinate love for luxuries.
8. When you can eat anytime, anything and anywhere.
9. When you have inordinate ambition for power and popularity.
10. Gluttony.

All these are signs/characteristics of people feeding on idols but feel they are not feeding on idols.

Evil can be transferred by contact

You need to be careful on:

– whose clothes you put on.

– whose hair you put on your head as attachment.

– the kind of food you eat.

Research has shown that most of the hair shown on beauty shops are from satanic altars.

===> May the Lord deliver us from them all, in Jesus’ name.

WAY OUT

1. You need to surrender your life to Jesus Christ.
2. Cast your mind back to your past on all those things you have fed on.
3. Totally repent whether you have done any of these.
4. Pray the deliverance prayer we are going to pray now to charge yourself with fire.

1. (Lay your hands on your stomach) Poison in my body, from the table of the devil, come out now, in the name of Jesus.
2. Anything I have eaten or swallowed, that is contesting for my destiny, die in the name of Jesus.
3. HOLY GHOST FIRE, PURGE MY LIFE, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

SILENT KILLER HABITS AND PRACTICES

1 WORRY AND ANXIETY: In response to environmental and social demands, women tend to worry about so many things – what to eat, where to live, how to take care of the children (unborn ones inclusive), how to settle bills, getting along with husbands and in-laws etc. This increases tension and may lead to hypertension

2 HAVING TOO MUCH TO DO WITHOUT PROPER PLAN AND BALANCE: This often leads to stress and confusion. Plan your work and avoid ‘biting more than you can chew’ in a day.

3 LACK OF REST AND OVER-ACTIVITY: Getting enough rest is imperative to living a healthy lifestyle and when you do not relax and get enough sleep you are putting yourself at the risk of illness as well as other dangerous side effects. When you don’t get enough rest you will have difficulty concentrating, thinking clearly, and even remembering things. You might not notice this at first or blame it on your busy schedule, but the more sleep and rest you miss, the more serious these symptoms will become.

4 FEAR FED BY UNBELIEF IN THE HEART: Women have a lot of fears – fear of children’s security, husband’s fidelity, prevailing disease in the community, fear of what might happen to the baby in the womb, etc. What many do not realize is that fear creates turmoil and chaos in our lives and contributes to ailments such as migraines, panic attacks, high blood pressure, and depression. The human body is not meant to live in a state of fear. Adrenaline was made for emergency situations only. Yet people are imperceptibly subjecting themselves to fear and anxiety every single day. It is no wonder our health suffers. But “…God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of love, power and of a sound mind (2Timothy1:7).

5 ALLOWING BUILD UP OF STRESS FROM RESPONSIBILITIES: So much is laid upon the woman: she may be a wife, mother, secular worker and Christian worker, saddled with so many responsibilities. When these are not properly planned and balanced they become stressful and make the woman to be nervous. This could result in peptic ulcer.

6 ANGER AND RAGE: These trigger excessive production of certain hormones in the body which may result in stroke, heart attack, or paralysis. According to new research findings, all of the negative energy exerted in moments of anger isn’t just a waste of time or a minor nuisance; it can lead to serious health complications that shorten lifespan and interfere with quality of life.

7 BITTERNESS AND UNFORGIVING ATTITUDE: Some women are known to be experts in these negative attitudes, which can cause both physical and spiritual illnesses. There may be loss of appetite, loss of weight, peptic ulcer and psychosomatic problems.

8 ALLOWING SELF PITY AND DEPRESSION: Depression involves sadness, pessimism, a preoccupation with personal problems, and feeling sorry for oneself. It could also be accompanied by fatigue, excessive sleeping, insomnia, anguish, crying, and hopelessness. Other possible symptoms include poor appetite, heavy eating, weight loss or gain, feelings of inadequacy or worthlessness, anxiety, regrets, decreased productivity, poor concentration, or recurrent thoughts of death or suicide.

9 BAD FEEDING HABITS: Skipping meals, overeating, eating at irregular times, eating the wrong types of food and unbalanced diet can predispose the woman to excessive weight gain (obesity), and diabetes mellitus. Women, by their privileged position in preparing meals at home, tend to eat in-between meals. This contributes greatly to their weight gain.

10 SMOKING OF CIGARETTES, CIGAR, PIPES AND TAKING OF SNUFF: This predisposes one to heart attacks and cancer, especially of the lungs.

11 TAKING HARD DRUGS (COCAINE, HEROIN, MARIJUANA, ETC): This could lead to serious mental problems.

12 NON-CHALANT ATTITUDE TO HEALTH MATTERS: Some women don’t pay much attention to health-related issues, ideas and discussions. This set of people leave everything, including their health, to fate. They believe they can’t do much to improve their health and this makes them flout health rules and shun helpful ideas about their health. This is a very dangerous attitude.

13 LAZINESS/LACK OF EXERCISE: Lack of exercise causes lots of physical and psychological setbacks. It increases one’s chances of developing heart disease and increases the risk of obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure.

14 FLIRTING AND ADULTERY: These immoral attitudes could lead an individual to contracting sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), HIV/AIDS, loss of self respect, and debasing of the dignity of manhood/womanhood.

15 POOR PERSONAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL HYGIENE: A woman unable to maintain a good personal and environmental hygiene will expose herself and members of her household and even neighbours to numerous health hazards.

KILLER DISEASES

Some common killer diseases caused by these killer habits include:

1 OBESITY: This is an excessive accumulation of fat in the body which leads to great increase in weight. It is determined by the index of BMI (Body Mass Index) whereby the weight in kilograms is divided by the height in metres squared. Overweight is defined as a BMI of 25 to 29.9, while obesity is defined as a BMI of 30 or more. The primary cause of obesity is consumption of more calories (food) than the body needs or uses. It is also caused by insufficient exercise. Obesity favours the development of many other diseases such as diabetes mellitus, gall stones, hypertension, inguinal and hiatus hernia, varicose vein, uterine prolapse and tiredness from overwork on the heart and lungs.

2 DIABETES MELLITUS: This is a metabolic disease characterized by excessive urination (with sugar in the urine), weight loss (due to excessive urination), excessive craving for water, and general body weakness. It has an attendant raised blood-sugar level as a result of inadequate secretion of a hormone called insulin. Contributory factors are overeating, alcohol consumption, excessive craving for sweetened/sugary foods and drinks. This, if not well controlled, will affect many other systems of the body and can cause diseases and/or untimely death. Change of feeding habit, regular exercise, and weight-shedding will go a long way to prevent diabetes.

3 HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE (HYPERTENSION): High blood pressure means high pressure (tension) in the arteries. The arteries are the vessels that carry blood from the heart to all of the tissues and organs of the body. Normal blood pressure is between 90/60 and below 140/90 mmHg. Thus, a blood pressure of 140/90 mmHg and above is considered high blood pressure. The top number, which is known as the systolic blood pressure, represents the pressure in the arteries as the heart contracts and pumps blood into the arteries. The diastolic pressure, which is the bottom number, represents the pressure in the arteries as the heart relaxes after the contraction. The diastolic pressure, therefore, reflects the minimum pressure to which the arteries are exposed. 85-90% of people with high blood pressure have primary hypertension where the cause is unknown. 10-15% of people have secondary hypertension which is caused by other ailments such as kidney disorder or hormonal disorder. Hypertension can lead to heart-disease, stroke, paralysis and death. Predisposing factors include obesity, diabetes, emotional tension, stress and heredity.

4 TUBERCULOSIS: Tuberculosis is a chronic bacterial infection. It is spread through the air and usually infects the lungs, although other organs and parts of the body can be involved as well. Most people who are infected with tuberculosis at the latent stage harbour the bacterium without serious symptoms. Symptoms associated with this stage include weight loss, fever, night sweats, and loss of appetite. If the affected individual is adequately treated, he gets cured. However, if left untreated, the latent TB will degenerate into the active TB disease, which has chronic and debilitating symptoms, including severe cough, chest pain, and bloody sputum.

5 CANCERS: Cancer is a disease of cells. It is an abnormal growth of cells which tend to proliferate in an uncontrolled way and, in some cases, to metastasize (spread). First, cells begin to grow out of control in the body. Second, those cells have the ability to travel from their original site to other locations in the body. If the spread is not controlled, cancer can result in death. The most common forms of cancer are skin cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer (mostly in women), and prostate cancer (mostly in men).

6 HIV/AIDS: AIDS is a chronic, life-threatening condition caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). By damaging or destroying the cells of your immune system, HIV interferes with your body’s ability to effectively fight off viruses, bacteria and fungi that cause disease. This makes you more susceptible to certain types of cancers and to opportunistic infections your body would normally resist, such as pneumonia and meningitis. The virus and the infection itself are known as HIV. The term Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is used to mean the later stages of an HIV infection. Immoral sexual relationship, use of infected sharp instruments like needles, tattooing instruments, razor blade, shaving instruments, and transfusion of infected blood could cause HIV/AIDS and its attendant problems.

REMEDY

1. Enter into covenant relationship with God by being born again through repentance and faith in Christ and thereafter live a righteous and holy life daily in following the Lord. Doing this gives you right to enjoy all the covenant blessings of the Lord in all areas of your life – spiritual, health, finance, family, etc. (Exodus 3:25; 15:26; 3John 2; 1 Peter 2:24).
2. Take the following preventive measures against the silent killers:

(i) Learn to always carry your problems, cares and concerns to the Lord in prayer. Leave them there at His feet with a simple childlike trust “casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you” (1 Peter 5:7; Philippians 4:6). Doing this takes care of all worries, anxiety, fears etc.

(ii) Always put the best (positive) construction on every situation of life and on what people say to or about you. This helps a great deal to keep your mind and heart healthy and sound to think and act right always as well as develop the best attitude to life. (Philippians 4:8).

(iii) Learn to always forgive every offence. Pray for grace and make up your mind to do so.

(iv) Obey simple health rules.

(v) Eat good and balanced diet with fruits and vegetables at regular intervals and at the right time.

(vi) Maintain good personal and environmental hygiene.

(vii) Do exercise regularly,

(viii) Rest. Sleep of 6-8 hours a day is ideal.

(ix) Go for routine check-up at six-month intervals.

(x) Do regular BP checks at every available opportunity. You can buy your own digital sphygmomanometer (Blood Pressure equipment) to check your blood pressure regularly.

(xi) Regular self breast-examination, Pap smear and early reporting of any abnormal swelling or growth in any part of the body will help a lot in cancer screening and prevention.

(x) Renew and strengthen your spirit always by daily reading and meditating on God’s word. Remember that your body needs a healthy mind to function effectively.
